I'm Gala, from Spain. I am here in an exchange students program in Tokyo College of Music. I play the viola. I know English (B2 certificate), Spanish and Catalan –last two are mother languages. I am learning Japanese right now too.
I like reading, drawing, listening and playing music, and in general everything that involves art. I also enjoy going outside and walk. In my hometown I used to do long walks with my dog –I'm an animal lover too :)

I've been taking care of some of my parents friends sons or/and daughters (age range from 3 to 10, aprox) in my home country occasionally when they couldn't take care of their child. Not really a usual thing, just from time to time. I wonder if I can continue to do this here in Japan. I really like children and enjoy being with them. When I usually take care of them I like doing activities like playing with their toys, drawing, inventing stories together, teaching origami, etc.

I've also worked as a volunteer with people with disabilities (range age from 7 to 25 aprox) both in a summer camp and in a program that involves therapy with horses. On the first one we did both outdoor and indoor activities as paddle surf, surf, going to the beach, dance and sing, draw, do excursions, etc. With horses we took care of them and I helped the boys and girls to ride them –I used to do horse-riding until I was 17. I've been helping in the summer camp for 3 years and 4 in the equine therapy place. It's really interesting working with people who has any kind of disability because in the end you realize how much you can learn from them.

Because I'm a student, each week my schedule may change. I have rehearsals, concerts, classes, exams...

Buenas, soy Gala. Soy de España (he vivido desde los 8 meses allí) y he venido a Japón a estudiar música en el Tokyo College of Music. Toco la viola y me gustaría poder aprovechar el tiempo libre que tengo aquí. Me gusta todo lo que esté relacionado con el arte y los animales. Desde que empecé a hacer voluntariado con personas con discapacidad (niños y adolescentes) y cuidé puntualmente de hijos de amigos, me di cuenta de que los niños también me gustan.
Hablo español y catalán nativos, inglés y ahora estoy aprendiendo japonés.

Con los niños me gusta adaptarme a lo que a cada uno le guste más. En general les gusta también todo lo relacionado con las artes: actuar, dibujar, hacer manualidades...

Como soy estudiante, mi horario no es igual cada semana, por lo que no es 100% fiel a la realidad el que tengo en el perfil.
