Introduction
Experience
• International School Teacher: I'm an English teacher in an international school in Itabashi, Tokyo. I have experience in keeping children (3-6 y.o.) engaged in activities where there can also learn. I also really enjoy teaching math, so private tutorials during babysitting time are possible. Part of my responsibilities as the head teacher in my current school is to create curriculums for different classes and age-groups. One of the things that I implemented in my kindergarten class is Learning Center where they can choose to explore different activities such as art, dramatic play, playing with playdough and blocks, reading, and puzzles. Each activity encourages development in their communication skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, creativity, and motor skills.
• Babysitting: I have experience in taking care of my friends' children (5-7 y.o.). The things that I did for the children are taking them to the park, helping them with their homework, playing with them, preparing meals for them, and putting them to bed.
• Toddlers (1 - 2 y.o.): I also have experience changing diapers and spending time with toddlers. We usually sing songs, play games where they have to match objects of the same color, sing the alphabet, mimic animal actions, and dance to children songs.

Meet Christine, a fun-loving and enthusiastic individual who has been in Japan since 2014. She enjoys cooking and is skilled at making pasta and pizza dough from scratch. Christine is passionate about children's development, focusing on critical thinking and fine motor skills, and she loves sharing storytime with kids. Her unique ability to connect with children through conversations about dinosaurs adds a special touch to her babysitting. We believe she will make a great sitter for any CareFinder Family!
