Hello my name is Miki.
I have lived in the United States for 15 years and in Australia for one year. During my time in the U.S., I earned several degrees in early childhood education and gained experience at multiple preschools. In Japan, I acquired a childcare qualification(Hoikushi) and have experience working at several international and bilingual schools. Therefore, I can provide preschool-style sitting in English for children aged around three and above as well.

I have been involved in child-centered and individualized education inspired by Reggio Emilia and the International Baccalaureate. Working as a nanny or babysitter, where I can engage one-on-one with each child, is an ideal environment for me. In the U.S., I had the privilege of working with over 100 families from various nationalities as a nanny and babysitter. I enjoyed spending time with children at parks, museums, lessons, events, swimming, and nature walks.

I am also passionate about nature and natural education, and I always grow flowers and vegetables. I hold a certification as a "Wood Education" instructor.
I love picture books and own around 700 books, with about half in English and half in Japanese. Sharing my favorite books with others brings me immense joy. I am also skilled in crafts, simple science activities, and English fingerplay songs.

As for other hobbies, I have played tennis for over 40 years, and I also enjoy horseback riding, scuba diving, and windsurfing. Currently, I am into BodyCombat, a globally popular exercise style based on kickboxing.

Spending time with children—learning together, sharing joy, and witnessing their moments of growth—has been the most valuable experience in my life. I look forward to spending more wonderful moments with your children. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to meeting with you all.

- Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
- Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

初めまして！アメリカに15年、オーストラリアに1年住んだことがあり、アメリカでは幼児教育の分野での学位を多数取得し、数カ所のプリスクールでの経験、日本では保育士の資格取得、数々のインターナショナルスクール、バイリンガルスクールの経験がありますので、英語でのプリスクールタイプのシッティング設定も可能です(3歳ぐらいから)。

レッジョエミリア インスパイアード、国際バカロレアなど子ども主体、個を尊重する保育/教育に取り組んできました。一人一人と向き合えるナニー、シッターのお仕事は私には理想的な環境で、アメリカでは様々な国籍を持った100以上のご家族のナニーやベビーシッターとしての豊富な経験もあり、公園や博物館、習い事付き添い、イベント参加、プールや自然散策など様々なことをお子様たちと一緒に楽しんできました。

又自然が好きで自然教育にも興味があり、常にお花や野菜を育ていて、木育講師の資格もあります。
絵本が大好きで７００冊ほど所持しています(英語と日本語半々ぐらいです)。大好きな絵本を皆様とシェアさせていただけるのは私にとって至福の時間です。
工作、クラフトや、ちょっとしたサイエンス、英語の手遊び歌なども得意分野です♪

他に趣味は過去にはテニスを40年以上、乗馬、スクーバダイビング、ウィンドサーフィンも堪能して今はボディコンバット(世界的に流行っているエクササイズスタイルのキックボクシング)を楽しんでいます♪

一緒に楽しんだり学んだり、心が動く瞬間を見たりとお子様と関わる時間は私の人生の中でも最も貴重な時間でした。これからも沢山素敵な時間をお子様と一緒に過ごせたらと思っております。どうぞ宜しくお願い致します。
