While some people are excited for Spring as the return of nice weather and sunny days, others see it as their last opportunity to enjoy Winter's diversions. If that's anyone in your household, you'll want to check out English Adventure Camp's Spring Holiday ski camp! From March 27 to 30, your snow bunny can enjoy an "American-style" experience on the mountains of Niigata. Activities are run in English (with Japanese if needed), so it's great for native speakers or those who want to sharpen their language skills.

Head to Hakuba for Evergreen Winter Camp! Sessions three and four are scheduled for late March and early April, so these are another great option to get that last taste of cold-weather fun. Camp activities for younger children will focus on sharpening athletic skills on the slopes, whether they ski or snowboard. For teens between 13 and 17, the goal is to help build leadership skills (while also having a great time outdoors).

Ayla International School's annual Spring camp is perfect for the little guys — the bilignual activities are geared toward children between 3 ad 6 years old. Over the course of two weeks, your child will take part in tons of crafts, dance, art and other fun activities, including St. Patrick's Day and Mardi Gras parties. Rates are per-day, so you don't have to sign up for the whole week if you don't want or need to.

If your kids don't need much instruction in English, YMCA Japan has a plethora of Spring Break camps and activities to tap into! There are hikes around Mt. Fuji, swim classes and writing help. Some sessions do feature English (though are geared toward learners, not those with a grasp already), which focus on some more traditional camp pursuits, like arts and crafts, singing and games.
March 22 - April 2
Do you have a tech whiz at home? Keep them busy this Spring Break at coding camp! Saturday Kids is running a two-week camp for kids aged 5 to 14 with sessions geared toward age and skill level. Kids will learn all about coding with fun lessons that they'll be able to apply outside of the classroom as well. In-person sessions will be held in Kamimeguro, or you can opt for online instruction. Plus, if you sign up before March 15, you can get a discount!
