Make bedtime reading a habit with these new picture books!
We all know that children learn by imitating adults, especially their parents. We also know that it’s important for children to establish a regular reading habit and foster a positive relationship with reading while they are young for future education achievement and life success. Research has found that shared reading in particular, when adults such as parents, teachers, or babysitters read aloud to children, is highly beneficial to children. Not only does it foster the development of spelling, reading comprehension and vocabulary, listening skills, and literacy skills, but it also fosters positive attitudes towards reading and is an opportunity to create social bonds between parents and their children.
