1. Tokyo Christmas Market 2018

Date: 12/14-25 11am-10pm

Location: Hibiya Park Fountain (Hibiya/Kasumigaseki Station)

With a 14m tall "Christmas Pyramid" imported from the famously well-known town of Christmas traditions, Seiffen, Germany, this Tokyo Christmas Market brings the European Christmas markets straight to you, here in Tokyo. Experience the authentic feel of a Christmas market walking around stalls selling mulled wine, Christmas sweets and European-style Christmas ornaments. Santa Clause and other guest artists will bring on the Christmas spirit with special performances of Christmas songs and gospel music. You and your kids can even get crafty making your very own snow globe or Christmas candles.

 

2. Sketch Town @ teamLab Future Park

Date: ~December 25 (weekdays 10am-7pm/weekend 10am-9pm)

Location: teamLab Borderless (Odaiba)

The oh-so-popular teamLab is putting on a special Christmas event. Here, children can create a world of Christmas out of pen and paper. All you have to do is draw a picture of Santa Claus on a piece of paper, then, as if by magic he will appear in a town right in front of your eyes! Each child's sketches becomes a part of the town along with sketches drawn by other children. The drawings move around on the screen and become a life of their own. Children can expand their imagination even more by interacting with the pictures. For instance, touch a car and it will speed up! We recommend making reservations online to avoid finding out the tickets are sold out at the door.

 

 

3. STAR AQUARIUM Bright Christmas

Date: ~December 25 (10am-10pm)

Location: Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa

Your favorite aquarium has been transformed into a sparkling star aquarium in celebration of Christmas! This special Christmas event utilizes projection mapping software to turn the sea into a shimmering starry sky. During the day the dolphins deliver a lively show to rock n' Christmas music. At night, the show transforms into a Christmas party under the starry sky. Celebrate the holidays with your favorite sea creatures!
