Take advantage of this special time of the year to enjoy the outdoor ice skating rinks popping up all over the city. Feeling peckish after all that skating? grab a delicious snack at the many food stalls surrounding the rink!
Date: 12/2 Sunday 12-4pm
Location: The Embassy of Sweden (Roppongi)
Enjoy Swedish traditional food, drinks, and handicrafts! You can try glögg (mulled wine) our favorite Swedish Christmas drink, eat traditional saffron buns and enjoy Swedish folk music. To get you in the Christmas spirit there’s also a special performance by Lucia and Swedish school children who will sing traditional Swedish Christmas songs!
Date: ~12/25 (11am-9pm)
Location: Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (Sakuragicho/Kannai Station)
Now in its 9th year, there is nothing like a Germany style Christmas Market at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse to get you in the Christmas spirit. Traditional wooden stalls line the market selling hot mulled wine, German sausages and various Christmas trinkets under the live giant 10m Christmas tree. There is plenty of fun for the kiddos too with ice skating rinks, craft workshops and a special appearance from Santa!
